- Clef Verte
- International environmental label for tourist accommodations and restaurants, managed in France by Teragir. It certifies a comprehensive environmental approach covering water management, energy, waste and awareness.
- Green Globe
- International sustainable tourism certification based on criteria aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Evaluates the environmental and social performance of tourism establishments.
- Sustainable tourism
- An approach to tourism that takes into account its current and future economic, social and environmental impacts, meeting the needs of visitors, professionals, the environment and host communities.
- GHG disclosure
- Legal obligation to inform travellers of greenhouse gas emissions related to their transport. Required by the Climate and Resilience Law (Article 228-III of the Environmental Code).
- Eco-label
- Official certification attesting that a product or service meets a set of environmental criteria verified by an independent body. In tourism: EU Ecolabel, Clef Verte, Green Globe.
- Hotel carbon footprint
- Assessment of greenhouse gas emissions from a hotel property covering energy (heating, air conditioning), guest and staff travel, catering, laundry and waste.
- Territorial insetting
- Funding carbon sequestration projects in the immediate vicinity of your operations, strengthening territorial anchoring and the visibility of your commitment to local stakeholders.
- Scope 3 transport
- Category of indirect emissions related to guest and supplier travel. In hotels and tourism, scope 3 transport often represents the largest share of the total carbon footprint.
