What it means in practice
For the climate:
funding projects in France certified under the Label Bas-Carbone (afforestation, reforestation, low-carbon farming practices, hedgerows, orchards), whose emission reductions are measured using methods approved by the French Ministry for Ecological Transition.
For local communities:
channelling corporate funding to French foresters and farmers, so that it pays for work on the ground.
For nature:
selecting and monitoring projects also for what they bring to biodiversity, water and soils, beyond carbon.
How it guides our business
Our business is to connect companies that want to act for the climate with project developers who reduce or store carbon in France. Our purpose sets our rules of conduct:
- we track every tonne and every euro, all the way to the project;
- our executives take into account, in their decisions, the consequences for our employees, clients, project developers, shareholders and the environment, as our articles of association require.

B Corp certified since 2024
Stock CO₂ is a B Corp certified company by B Lab, a global network recognizing businesses meeting the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. This certification is reassessed every three years and covers governance, workers, community, environment and customers.

Aubin Labergère, co-founder of Stock CO₂, has been Secretary General of AFEF since 2023. This historic association brings together stakeholders in forest management and water resource preservation in France.

Guillaume Panthou, co-founder of Stock CO₂, is Vice-President of the Nature+ Coalition, co-founded in 2025 with Reforest'Action and SE Advisory Services (ex-Ecoact). This coalition aims to accelerate funding for nature-positive projects in France and Europe.
